The Relaxed Fit Chino is a casual fitting chino pant. The fit is best described as comfortable in the top block and open at the leg opening. The slightly elongated front rise is meant to sit just at the top of the hip and from there the moderate thigh measurements provide space through the knee and then a very slight taper to the leg opening. This chino is best custom hemmed at and around the ankle or top of the footwear.
The fabric is a 100% Japanese cotton with a brushed interior. Japanese herringbone is used for the pocket bags and the waist band. The design concept was to be dressed up. This is achieved by the elimination of exterior stitching all around the pant from interior and exterior leg seams as well as the hand pocket entry. The rear features two double welt pockets with one button on the left side. The button was not included on the right side as it too often conflicts with ease of slide for one's wallet should they employ the standard approach. Matte polished horn buttons from Italy are used for the fly.
This fabric will "open up" with a just a walk around the block. It is encouraged to be worn with the waistband fitting just before snug. The waist and thigh will open as the wearer moves around and from there the form will be perfect; if not already. This fabric does not show much shrinkage but it is encouraged to wash on cold and dry on the lowest temperature. The chino will get softer and softer with each wash. It is recommended to pull the chino inside out when washing.
